Who is Waste-CAN?
Waste-CAN.org is a group of concerned citizens who are working to address environmental, medical and policy issues around the burning of solid waste in the Covanta Energy to Waste Facility in Marion County.
Mission
Our mission is to educate citizens and to promote citizen involement in key decsion making processes regarding solid waste.
Members
The members are all volunteers. There are no dues or fees related to the work of the organization. The web pages are created by volunteers working to increase communication and activism. We are networking with other organizations in helping to promote our mission.
